The Rev. Dan Thibodeau, Deacon

I come from the New England state of New Hampshire (Live Free or Die). I came to Buffalo in 1984 when I was the United States Coast Guard. I was senior warden at St. Patrick's in Cheektowaga and again at Trinity, Lancaster. I was ordained a deacon on 09/14/2008 (Holy Cross Day). I served as a Deanery Deacon to the eight parishes of the Eastern Erie Deanery until I came here to St Mark's Orchard Park. I am married to Sheila Schascheck and have 2 children. My daughter Alisha lives in West Seneca with her husband Chris. My son Andrew lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife Carla. On a side note, I am a New England Patriot's fan as well as a Bill's fan...

OUR LEADERSHIP

Vestry

The Vestry is "the board of directors" of St. Mark's. They are elected at the Annual Meeting in February. They prayerfully vote and make the decisions for the church, from choosing the Rector, balancing funds, paying the bills, investing wisely, taking care of the building and grounds, to living our mission of St. Mark's by spiritually growing as a community in Christ and taking care of our neighbors, both locally and around the world.
