Fr. Jack brings a vast and varied experience as Rector of St. Mark's. Ordained for over forty years, he has served in a number of parishes and has a background in Catholic and Byzantine liturgy.
In addition to serving in parishes, he has been a healthcare chaplain as well. His career has led him to work in trauma centers, skilled nursing and psychiatric units. Prior to coming to Saint Mark’s, he was Director of Spiritual Care for Niagara Hospice for eight years.
Married for over 30 years, Jack and Mary share four adult children; Justin, Nicole, Kyle and Elena.
His ‘other’ interests include Scottish Heritage events as convener for Clan Keith USA in Western New York. Americans of Scottish descent share a rich history in the founding and development of the United States.
Deacon Lee was ordained as a deacon in October 1998. He is a retired music teacher from the Orchard Park School system. After teaching, he was an accomplished woodworker and his work can be found all around St. Marks.
The Rev. Dan Thibodeau, Deacon
I come from the New England state of New Hampshire (Live Free or Die). I came to Buffalo in 1984 when I was the United States Coast Guard. I was senior warden at St. Patrick's in Cheektowaga and again at Trinity, Lancaster. I was ordained a deacon on 09/14/2008 (Holy Cross Day). I served as a Deanery Deacon to the eight parishes of the Eastern Erie Deanery until I came here to St Mark's Orchard Park. I am married to Sheila Schascheck and have 2 children. My daughter Alisha lives in West Seneca with her husband Chris. My son Andrew lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife Carla. On a side note, I am a New England Patriot's fan as well as a Bill's fan...
