child and youth ministries

At St. Mark's, we value the importance of honoring our heritage and passing on our faith and traditions to younger members and future generations. Christian education is a very important and integral part of life at St. Mark's - our goal is to provide interactive programs for all members to study and learn together: to deepen our faith and grow in the love of Christ.

Pre-K through Grade 5 - Beginning September 17, 2017, this year's Christian education program is "Seasons of the Spirit/Encore".  This multi-age lectionary curriculum for children is based on the foundation of worship, faith formation, and service and will follow each Sunday's worship readings.

We will join our families at The Peace so that we may participate in worship and Communion as a community.

A Year with the saints

The First Sunday of Each Month at 10 a.m.
in the Vestry Room

Grades 6 through 9 - We will be studying many of the saints of the Church. The students will study the saint, help select an outreach or service project that reflects the saints’ life, prepare and do the project then reflect on what they learned about living a life that reflects his/her faith. For example, if we chose St. Francis, a possible project would be a pet food drive then delivering the food to an animal shelter. We will also join our families at the time of The Peace so that we can participate in worship and Communion as a community.
