Adult Education

Formation Sundays: A monthly program for those looking to deepen their relationship with God, looking to step forward in their faith and/or those looking for some sort of personal enrichment.  This program meets once a month October - May and occurs on the 3rd Sunday of each month following the 10 o'clock service.  A soup lunch is provided as well as childcare.

Lenten Study:
 A special program is offered weekly during the early spring in preparation for Easter.

Advent Series: A study is offered during the season of Advent.

Buffalo Wings and Theological Things:  An informal monthly gathering  to discuss various faith related topics . Meets on the third Wednesday of each month September - June at 7:15pm @ Danny's Resturant on the corner of Abbott and Rte. 20 A.  

Adult Inquirer's class:  A class for those new to St. Mark's or the Episcopal church or for adults preparing for confirmation. Topics discussed include: What does it mean to be an Episcopalian?, How are we governed?, How do we worship and where do we come from? This class is offered at various times throughout the year. Cursillo: An international movement of the Episcopal Church that strives to enable people through a method of piety, study, and action to develop spiritually and use their gifts from God. Cursillo starts with attending a 3 day weekend. This occurs several times during the year. Check out the Cursillo website for more informaiton wnycursillo.org.  

Annual Women's Retreat: Each January the women of St. Mark's go on an overnight retreat to Christ the King Seminary. It is a time of learning and fellowship with the women of St. Mark's.
